A different Adventure :)

OH!! God today was awful..

My B’day falls this month as you all know.

Dad was free today so we planed to go for the purchase.

Mom suggested west Side or Lifestyle and dad suggested globus. But I, Me adhigaprasangi ( too much confident and big mouth) wanted some thing traditional and suggested Pothys. Of course Dad and Mom agreed. And that was it. Even though the ramzan crowed has reduced and Diwali was long ahead the car moved inch by inch at the crowded Panagal Park road. It was really frustrating to hear the cars honking and honking. After half an hour to move a kilometer finally we reached pothys and realised it was brimming with people. It means when u get in ( which itself is a tough task) you cant breathe out. Hell!! after the on hour travel and you see this place is like this there is no way you can get back. We were just slushing into the crowd and peeking. We reached the lift. Ayyo!! and there was a crowd crushing to the lift. after 15 mins of wait the lift arrived. All the people just crushing in and in and successfully the three of us managed to step in to the lift and yea!! we got down at second floor. Well… there was crowd too. I was going mad. Ok I fixed my mind sternly that i will do for a salwar first. and after all the squishing and squashing i managed to get two!!. Then I wanted to get a 3/4th. While mom was waiting for the bill. I and dad sailed across the crowd and moved to the other end for the 3/4 ths. I just forgot to take my size. each one of the same size were different. So i decided to use the trial room. Adap paavigala!! tirupathi queue mathiri anga oru kilometerukku queue nikkuthu ( the queue was so long for a kilometer like the queue in tirupathi). And i just dropped the idea of a 3/4 th. But one was so pretty that i took the risk to buy it and admit it even though it was not correct for me. After getting the dresses we’ve already purchased. Mom wanted to get a half sari for me (aentimental!?!?) and after learning it was in the basement the process started again… waiting for the lift.. and going down till the ground floor ( there was no lift for the basement) and climbing down to the Basement… anga pona… again a BIGGER crowd!! phew…we managed to get through and get the dress and again after the squish squashing reached the entrance of Pothys and stepped out. It was then I was able to breathe freely. and then the parking underground was full so after calling the driver( who had parked the vehicle some where else) and a frustrating waiting on the Panagal Park road for almost 20 min.. We got on the car and the cool Ac breeze was such a relief from the crowd. God bless!!!

We came back home and still more worse there was no current. After half an hour of waiting yea the power came.. I couldn’t wait to run into the room switch on the AC and lie down on the bed but i was curious too…I just started trying of all my dresses and yeah my 3/4 th fitted me perfectly too. And I was all happy and smiling.. and ended up with five dresses this year. And one thing for sure I am not stepping into Panagal park or Ranganathan street for any cause what so ever!!’

May be its all an adventure !!
